The Cone on Iron Street is a quaint ice cream shop in the historic mining town of Negaunee, Michigan. Located just blocks away from the city's most popular tourist attraction, Our goal was to make the shop a thematic encore for visitors touring the Michigan Iron Industry Museum or a can't-miss pit-stop for hikers on the Iron Ore Heritage trail.
Taking inspiration from many varieties of iron craftsmanship, we aimed to create an identity with delightful contrasts that glorified iron works and ice cream in equal amounts.
